Meet Unbord's Learning Guides

In Unbord, you will meet five learning guides: Ryno, Gobby, Kavan, Quack, and Peako. Alongside them, Nuro is present throughout the learning journey as Unbord's artificial intelligence assistant.

Each guide represents a different way of learning.

In one situation, you may learn better through creating and making; in another, through interaction and conversation; and in another, through discovery, analysis, or practice.

These guides are not meant to determine "what kind of person you are" or limit you to a single way of learning. Their goal is to accompany you throughout your journey and introduce you to different ways of learning.

Ryno; Learning Through Creation and Production

Ryno encourages you to create and build.

Instead of only viewing or reading content, you can create an output based on what you have learned; for example, a flashcard, a piece of content, or an educational work.

Gobby; Learning Through Interaction and Collaboration

Gobby brings learning closer to a social and interactive experience.

Gobby accompanies you as you progress step by step through conversation, collaboration, participation, and learning with others.

Therefore, you do not always have to go through your learning journey alone; interacting with others can also be part of your learning experience.

Kavan; Learning Through Discovery and Experience

Kavan is for when you want to discover, stay curious, and explore new paths.

Kavan accompanies you and helps you start by asking questions, explore related topics, and discover new things through experience and exploration.

The path does not always have to be clearly defined from beginning to end; curiosity and discovery are themselves part of learning.

Quack; Learning Through Analysis and Problem Solving

Quack invites you to think, analyze, and find the reason behind things.

Quack accompanies you to show that reaching an answer is not the only thing that matters. It is important to understand why an answer is correct or incorrect and how a problem can be solved.

Therefore, when a topic requires investigation, reasoning, or problem solving, you will work alongside Quack.

Peako; Learning Through Competition, Practice, and Action

Peako brings learning closer to action.

Instead of simply reading about a skill, you try it, practice it, put something into action, and compete with others to achieve the best results.

In this approach, learning does not end with knowing; you need to do something and get ahead of your competitors.

Nuro; A Companion for Thinking and Learning

Nuro thinks alongside you throughout your learning journey and helps move the conversation forward.

You can ask Nuro for an explanation, discover a concept through step-by-step questions, or enter a discussion about a topic and test your own perspective.

Nuro is Unbord's artificial intelligence assistant, and you will encounter it throughout different parts of Unbord.

Do I need to have one fixed learning guide?

No. Unbord's guides are not designed to place you into a fixed group or learning style.

When learning one topic, creating may help you; with another topic, you may need to analyze a problem; and in another situation, you may progress better through practice or conversation.

Therefore, the right guide for you may change depending on the topic, activity, and learning situation.

The goal of these guides is not to tell you: "What type of learner are you?"

Instead, they help you think about this question: "What is the best way for me to learn this?"
